For estate wines, spirits, beers and liqueurs
When you enter the Fishmarket, look to your right where Liquor Cove beckons. Inside is an impressive variety of estate wines, beer and liqueurs, including Matelot®, the Wharf’s own wine in a fish-shaped bottle, a wonderful gift. Non-alcoholic grape juice is also available.
Liquor Cove was the first South African wine and liquor outlet to be licenced for seven-days-a-week trading, and still does.
Please note that alcohol may not be sold or supplied to any individuals under the age of 18.

We pride ourselves on a fantastic selection of excellent estate wines from Constantia, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek and many other wine-producing areas.
Craft beer, ciders and beers
Besides our extensive range of beers, try our very own Olde Seadog® beer, also available to purchase with your meal at our Wharfside Grill restaurant and Wharfette® Bistro.
Fine liqueurs
We also stock a wide range of imported and local gins, whiskies, brandies and aperitifs. Also available in the Liquor Cove are bartending tools and accessories, as well as a variety of books.
